"The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Jen Affleck has filed for divorce from her husband Zac Affleck after seven years of marriage, while pregnant with the couple's fourth child.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE and TMZ, the 27-year-old reality star filed the petition on Tuesday, November 3, in the Fourth Judicial District Court in Provo, Utah. She also submitted a proposed parenting plan for the couple's children, though the details of that filing remain private. The court records do not list a reason for the divorce or detail the custody arrangement Jen is seeking.
Jen and Zac met on the Mormon dating app Mutual in 2018, got engaged the following year and married in June 2019. They share three children: daughter Nora, five, son Luca, three, and daughter Penelope, one, whom they welcomed in July 2025. In June, Jen announced they were expecting their fourth child, posting photos of her baby bump with the caption "Chapter Four."
A source told PEOPLE on Wednesday that Zac "is doing okay" following the filing, adding that he and Jen "are staying focused on preparing for the baby and supporting their kids." The split comes just days before the premiere of Hulu's spinoff "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County," which debuts on November 12 and stars Jen as she moves her family from Utah to Southern California. Zac did not film a single scene for the new series, according to TMZ.
The couple's relationship struggles have been a major storyline on "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," which premiered on Hulu in September 2024 and follows a group of Utah-based TikTok mom influencers known as MomTok. On the show, Jen has said their marriage was in a "rocky place" and sought to resolve their difficulties with therapy.
Neither Jen nor Zac has shared a public statement explaining the decision to end the marriage. The filing marks the beginning of a legal process rather than the end of the marriage in legal terms, and no final custody arrangement has been confirmed.
