Netflix's Christmas-set spy thriller 'Black Doves' is back. Season 2 of the series, starring Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw, arrives on Thursday, November 5, with all six episodes released at once.
Knightley returns as Helen, a spy living as the prime minister's wife, while Whishaw is back as Sam, the hitman facing a deadly ultimatum. The first season arrived in December 2024 and became one of the streamer's breakout hits of that winter.
The new season is one of the centerpieces of Netflix's November slate, which also brings back the Canadian comedy 'North of North' for a second season on the same day. Anna Lambe returns as Siaja, ready to pursue a new chapter while leaning on the close-knit community of Ice Cove.
Later in the month, Netflix will release the Jessica Chastain mystery thriller 'Heartland' on November 13, in which the actress plays Misty Jones, a former country music legend who has lived in seclusion for two decades and steps back into the world when her 22-year-old niece goes missing.
The month also includes the limited series 'The Altruists' on November 19, dramatizing the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, with Anthony Boyle as Sam Bankman-Fried and Julia Garner as Caroline Ellison, and 'The Hunting Wives' Season 2 on Thanksgiving Day, November 26.
