Derrick Henry moved into seventh place on the NFL's all-time rushing list on Thursday night, passing two Hall of Famers in the first half of the Baltimore Ravens' game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Henry entered the night with 13,650 career rushing yards, needing only a modest total to climb the list. He got there quickly, gaining 51 yards on 12 carries in the first half at M&T Bank Stadium and passing Jerome Bettis (13,662) and LaDainian Tomlinson (13,684) to move from ninth to seventh. Baltimore trailed Jacksonville 17-3 at halftime.

Next on the list is Curtis Martin, who ranks sixth in NFL history with 14,101 career rushing yards. The all-time record belongs to Emmitt Smith at 18,355 yards — a mark Henry would need another three to four seasons to approach.

The milestone came on a difficult night for Baltimore. The 4-4 Ravens were playing without quarterback Lamar Jackson and backup Tyler Huntley, both on injured reserve, with rookie Joe Fagnano making his first career start. Henry, 32, still leads the NFL with 158 carries this season and is tied for first among running backs with eight rushing touchdowns.

Henry's name has surfaced in trade speculation ahead of the NFL's Tuesday deadline, but the Ravens do not plan to move him, according to James Palmer of Amazon. The four-time All-Pro has another season left on his two-year, $30 million contract, and Baltimore would rather remain competitive than sell.
