San Diego 17 minute Fireworks show to go off in 30 seconds.

Back in 2012 the San Diego fireworks show known as “The Big Day Boom” discharged prematurely and simultaneously from all four barges and a pier. The show was intended to be 17-minute display but only lasted 30 seconds. The misfire was later attributed to a corrupted computer file. There were no injuries reported and while this was a catastrophic failure of a highly choreographed and expensive firework show, it was also one of the most glorious 30 seconds in Independence Day history.
