FIFA Unveils Team of the Year with Surprise Omissions

FIFA has announced its Team of the Year, featuring a star-studded lineup that includes five Premier League players. However, the biggest surprise was the omission of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.

The Team of the Year includes some of the biggest names in football, such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Robert Lewandowski. The five Premier League players who made the cut are Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, and Rodri from Manchester City, as well as Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.

Mbappe’s omission from the Team of the Year has raised eyebrows, given his incredible form for both Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team. Other notable omissions include Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

It all means there is no room for Kylian Mbappe after a mixed start for Los Blancos this season

The FIFA Team of the Year is chosen by a panel of experts, including former players and coaches. The team is selected based on performances over the past year, taking into account both club and international competitions.
