The two parties involved in the Biden-Netanyahu call

Biden-Netanyahu Iran talks

Biden-Netanyahu Iran talks, During a critical 30-minute phone conversation, US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu talked about Israel’s preparations for responding to Iran’s recent missile assault. According to the White House, the talks were “direct” and “productive,” and both presidents decided to maintain regular communication. Yoav Gallant, Israel’s defense minister, revealed preparations for a “deadly, precise, and surprising” strike against Iran.

The situation is shaped by two main forces. First off, Biden feels that the US shouldn’t be forced into an unneeded and perhaps dangerous war with Iran. Second, given recent victories over Hezbollah in Lebanon, many in Israel see this as a unique opportunity to seriously undermine Iran. Israel has attacked Gaza fiercely, but it hasn’t succeeded in eliminating Hamas or freeing the hostages.

Some in Israel think that this is a rare chance to attack Iran, especially its nuclear facilities. One such person is former Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett. Biden, meanwhile, is adamantly against an Israeli attack on Iran because he thinks it will encourage Iran to get closer to producing a nuclear weapon. What Israel does next will be crucial in determining how the situation develops, especially in light of recent Iranian missile attacks.
