The Hamas-run civil defense organization in Gaza has announced that dozens of people have died as a result of a catastrophic bombardment. The attack, which was directed towards a shelter inside a Gaza City school, the Gaza school airstrike has made the already grave situation in the area worse.
Israeli Strike Targets School Used as Shelter

The airstrike occurred during dawn prayers, a time when many people were gathered inside the school. In a statement that was cited by Reuters, the Hamas media office called the incident a “horrific massacre.” Rescue teams are actively putting out fires and collecting the deceased’s remains.
Despite their efforts, medics have not yet been able to reach all the victims. It has been difficult to recover the deceased and give the injured quick help due to the commotion and devastation at the scene.
Israeli Military’s Response

Earlier in the week, the IDF had announced similar strikes on Hamas “command and control centers” located within two other schools in Gaza City.
