Representatives from groups such as the Neocatechumenal Way, Catholic Action, Communion and Liberation, the Catholic Shalom Community, Parish Evangelization Cells, CHARIS International, the Community of Sant’Egidio, New Horizons Community, International Forum of Catholic Action, Marian Burning Youth (Gioventù Ardente Mariana), Focolare Movement’s Work of Mary, Renewal in the Spirit, and Salesian Cooperators will also attend.

Event Schedule

On Saturday, June 7, the Jubilee will kick off with a pilgrimage through the Holy Doors of the Papal Basilicas from 8 AM to 6 PM.

In the afternoon, from 4 PM, all participants will gather at St. Peter’s Square for the Prayer Vigil with Pope Leo XIV, held on the eve of Pentecost.

Prior to the “Pre-Vigil,” pilgrims can enjoy music and performances by various groups representing movements, associations, and communities from around the world.

The “Pre-Vigil” will begin at 6 PM, setting the tone for a reflective prayer experience.

An international choir of 130 members will perform, and there will be testimonies shared by Hussam Abu Sini, an Arab-Christian from Israel dedicated to peacebuilding; Nicola Buricchi, a father who overcame drug addiction; Aline Minani, director of the “Floribert Bwana Chui” School of Peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo; and missionary spouses Pedro and Maria Begoña Sánchez, who serve in Ukraine and have 12 children.

Later that evening, from 8 to 9 PM, the Holy Father will lead the solemn Pentecost Vigil, including a Liturgy of the Word, Renewal of Baptismal Promises, and a homily.

On Sunday, June 8, at 10:30 AM, the Pope will celebrate the Eucharist for the Solemnity of Pentecost in St. Peter’s Square, concluding the Jubilee of Movements.
